Requirements and instructions for the
Ninth Annual St. Anne Servizio Scholarship Awards

The Italian Dinner has been a tradition at St. Anne since 1973.  The dinner was started to celebrate our St. Anne Community and to help raise funds to support the mission of St. Anne Parish and our Parish School.  The committed parishioners who started the dinner, and all those who have kept it going since, are women and men who have dedicated themselves to supporting their community and who exemplify a spirit of Christian stewardship.

To honor this longstanding legacy of stewardship, and to support our students in carrying forward this spirit of service, the St. Anne Servizio Scholarship Awards, sponsored by the annual St. Anne Italian Dinner, will be given to honor three St. Anne students who are committed to continuing the legacy of compassionate Christian service into their high school years and beyond.

To be considered for the award, eligible students must complete two essay questions.  Written applications will be reviewed and finalists will be selected for an interview with the scholarship selection committee.  There will be three award recipients, each receiving a scholarship grant of $2,500.  One $2,500 award will go to a high school student entering grades 10-12 in the fall of 2019.  The second $2,500 award will go to a current 8th grade student, entering high school in the fall of 2019. The third $2,500 award will go to a parishioner who will be a college freshman, sophomore, junior or senior in the fall of 2018. St. Anne Parish will make a tuition payment in that amount directly to the awardee’s high school or college in the fall of 2019.  The scholarship recipients will be acknowledged at the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 9, 2019.
