Community Development & Outreach

Martha's Workers

(a full-parish-participation minstry: help whenever / however you can)  Every weekend parishioners who are able bring bread, large cans of tuna, mayo & mustard; or peanut butter/jam with them to Mass.  Every Monday at 8:30am (Assembly Room) we make 500+ sandwiches for homeless persons/families in local shelters.  Once a month, we prepare a complete dinner for about 200 people.
Drop-in volunteers are always welcome to help make sandwiches and meals.
But we need drivers who sign up ahead of time to take turns with pick-up and delivery of prepared food and groceries donated by local stores.  Please contact us through the parish office at 206-282-0223  if you could help at all with deliveries.
